Public transport: Bus 100 E provides easy access to the city centre from Budapest Airport. Bus stops are located on the arrivals level, between the two terminals. The buses run around the clock, every 7-9 minutes on busy Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, every 10 minutes on other days with less traffic, and every 30-40 minutes between 1.00 and 3:00 A.M. in the early morning. (For timetables, please visit the BKK website (Centre for Budapest Transport) at https://bkk.hu/en/timetables-trip-planner/.
Bus 100 E passenger drop-off points on the way to the city centre:
- Kálvin tér station
- Astoria station
- Deák Ferenc tér station
Tickets (2200 HUF) can be purchased from the ticket machine at the airport or digitally. This ticket is only valid for the airport bus. If you want to take another bus/metro from the drop-off point to your hotel, you will need to buy a regular ticket as well (450 HUF) to continue your trip!
It is a good idea to download the BudapestGO app to your smart phone prior to your travel (link provided below in the BKK tickets and passes section).
